Is the preview really free?
Yes. I build a preview of your site from your Google listing before you spend anything. If you don't like it, you say no and that's the end of it. It's hidden from Google, and it comes down after 30 days.
How long does it take?
The preview is usually ready within 3 working days. Once you've told me what to change and approved the quote, your site is normally live within a week.
What do I need to give you?
Very little. I start from your Google listing, so I already have your name, hours, reviews and photos. After that I'll ask for your logo if you have one, your menu, prices or services, and any photos you'd like used.
Do I own my website and domain?
Your domain, like yourbusiness.co.uk, is registered in your business's name, so it's yours. If you ever leave, I'll help you move it and hand over your content.
What's in the monthly fee?
Hosting, your security certificate (the padlock), keeping everything up to date, and changes when you need them: new prices, opening hours, menu items or photos. Just send them by text, WhatsApp or email.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The monthly plan has no minimum term. Give one month's notice and that's it, no exit fee.
Will I show up on Google?
Every site is built for local search: fast, mobile-friendly, with the right page titles and business details Google looks for, and linked to your Google Business Profile. Nobody can honestly promise the top spot, but this gives you the foundations to be found.
I already have a website. Can you help?
Yes. If your current site is old, slow or hard to use on a phone, I'll build a preview of a new one using your existing content, so you can compare them side by side.
Can customers book or order online?
Yes. Online bookings, quote requests and online ordering with card payments are all available. Bookings and quote forms come with the Business plan, and ordering and payments are quoted separately.
Where do you work?
I'm based in Livingston and work with businesses across West Lothian, Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland. Most of it can be done remotely, and I'm happy to come and see you.
